His qualifications include PhD Health Couns, D.D., Hon D.D., MEd Couns, GCHE, Dip Ericksonian Hypno, CPNLP, BA Distinction, HACA. Joseph received his PhD from the School of Health, UNE, and taught for twenty years in the university sector in Australia and Canada in health counselling, education, and indigenous studies.
