Dr. Ho graduated in Medicine from the University of Melbourne, and subsequently trained in psychiatry in Sydney and Perth. He has experience and expertise in general psychiatric conditions, forensic psychiatry, and medicolegal reporting, as well as holding accreditation as a permanent impairment assessor in accordance with the AMA 4th Edition guidelines. He has completed a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Behavioural Science. Dr Ho has a longstanding commitment to a holistic and trauma-informed approach to care. He has an interest in the role of trauma in the development of mental health disorders and its role in shaping behaviour. His substantive role is in a public emergency psychiatry role, where he remains passionate about a patient-centered approach and advocacy. He has been involved in various Root Cause Analyses, Morbidity and Mortality meetings, and various working parties within the Royal Perth Bentley Group and WA Country Health Service. When not working Nick enjoys exploring the latest neighbourhood food haunt.
