
Dr Robert Adams
About
Originally from Cardiff, Wales, Dr Adams graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Birmingham in 2014. He has gained broad clinical experience across hospital and community settings in both the UK and Australia, including working at Sunshine Coast University Hospital between 2016 and 2020. After completing specialist GP training in the UK, he returned to Queensland and achieved Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Dr Adams enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a particular interest in cardiovascular, metabolic and lifestyle medicine. He is passionate about helping patients understand their long-term risk profile and supporting them in reducing their risk of heart disease, stroke and other chronic conditions through structured, evidence-based care. He works closely with patients to develop practical, sustainable strategies that optimise long-term health and function.
Known for his thorough and thoughtful approach, Dr Adams values building strong, long-term relationships and empowering patients to take an active role in their health.
