Dr. Kelvin Billinghurst is the Chief Medical Officer and Executive for Te Uru Kiriora (Primary, Public & Community Health) at MidCentral District Health Board in Palmerston North, New Zealand. He has a background as a remote area nurse and is passionate about rural and remote health. Dr. Billinghurst has worked as a school nurse and has experience in cultural safety, safety & quality, and proactive education. He is a CRANAplus Fellow and sits on the National Roundtable with CRANAplus. Dr. Billinghurst is also a professional member of CATSINAM and sits on the NT Advisory Board for the Australian Heart Foundation.
