Remedium Psychology is a psychology practice based in Northcote and Pascoe Vale, Melbourne, providing compassionate and individualised psychological support for people navigating a range of emotional, relational and life challenges. The practice is led by psychologist Anastasia Kioutsoukis, who has a particular interest in supporting people living with chronic illness and disability, including challenges within the autoimmune space.
The practice takes a whole-person approach that recognises the close relationship between emotional and physical wellbeing. Therapy can support clients experiencing relationship difficulties, self-sabotaging behaviours and challenges involving identity, purpose and self-understanding, with an emphasis on helping people develop greater self-awareness and create meaningful change in their lives.
Therapeutic approaches used at Remedium Psychology include Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. These approaches can help clients explore how relationships influence their emotional experiences, understand different parts of themselves and recognise past experiences or unconscious patterns that may influence their current feelings and behaviours.
Remedium Psychology provides a safe, empathetic and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts and experiences while working towards stronger relationships, greater self-understanding, authenticity and a greater sense of meaning and purpose. The practice offers appointments during both business and after-hours periods, with sessions generally lasting 50 minutes.
