Dr Mammoottil began his medical career in India, where he completed his medical training before relocating to Australia to further his experience across a range of hospital settings. His journey in Australia took him through rotations in Brisbane, Canberra, Hervey Bay, and Perth, where he immersed himself in diverse medical specialties, including surgery, urology, orthopaedics, and emergency medicine. These rotations were carefully chosen to provide the breadth of knowledge and experience required for his role as a GP, equipping him with a well-rounded skill set to handle a wide variety of medical conditions.

Dr Mammoottil joined Ochre as a registrar, driven by his desire to work in a dynamic environment where he could learn from GPs with extensive experience. He is passionate about providing comprehensive patient care and values the opportunity to collaborate with seasoned practitioners to continually refine his approach to general practice.

Outside of medicine, Dr Mammoottil has a young family and chose to settle in the area due to its attractive lifestyle and strong educational opportunities.
