Dr Rami Dawood is a board-certified lifestyle medicine physician and founder of Āfiya Medical. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Monash University and Master of Science from Georgetown University, with a focus on nutrition, mind-body medicine, and medicinal plants. He holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences from DePaul University and studied Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management at Columbia College Chicago. After completing his internship at The Alfred Hospital and residency at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, he is now pursuing PhD research at the Monash Centre for Consciousness and Contemplative Studies (M3CS), supervised by Dr Aydogan Kars and A/Prof Craig Hassed.
