Jean Jordan
About
Jean has been a naturopath for over 20 years. When she was doing her naturopathic training in Perth, she developed a special interest in chronic pain, that prompted her to do a clinical research project on musculoskeletal chronic pain. This research showed that past life experiences could impact the development of persistent pain and by acknowledging past stress and using self-help techniques pain relief was possible.
Jean has an understanding of the medical treatments for chronic pain in Australia and New Zealand taking the COVID opportunity for postgraduate study in pain management at Otago University.
Since that time, she has trained with Howard Schubiner on his Freedom from Chronic Pain course. Here she learnt that effectively the clinical work she had been doing for 20 years was neuroplastic treatment to change neural networks in the brain.
Jean now lives in Christchurch New Zealand and works to spread information about the new medicine that's being developed in the US and the UK as it's now recognized particularly in the case of long-term pain, the brain produces pain signals.
