About

MBBS, MPH (USA), FRACP

Dr Cummins completed his medical degree in 1984, followed by seven years of advanced physician training, and was inducted into the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 1992. He later undertook further study in Minneapolis, USA, where he completed a Master of Public Health and a Fellowship in Adolescent Medicine.

While developing his expertise as a diagnostician, Dr Cummins became increasingly concerned by the number of patients diagnosed with serious illnesses that might have been prevented or treated more effectively if identified earlier. This drove his pursuit of a more proactive model of care, focused on wellness and prevention. His approach draws inspiration from the lifestyle practices of some of the world’s longest-living populations, including the Okinawans and Sardinians, with the goal of helping people optimise their health and longevity.
