Dr Ailina Ismail
About
Dr Ailina Ismail is a Functional Medicine Doctor with more than 30 years of clinical experience and a strong foundation in conventional medicine. Her work focuses on helping people make sense of persistent symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, body aches, hormonal changes, digestive concerns, thyroid issues, and suspected autoimmune dysfunction, especially when they have been told their results are “normal” but still feel far from well.
Her approach combines medical rigour with root-cause investigation, looking beyond isolated symptoms to understand how the gut, immune system, hormones, metabolism, nutrition, environment, and nervous system may be contributing to a person’s health picture. She has a particular interest in autoimmune conditions, thyroid health, bloodwork interpretation, and complex symptoms that do not always fit neatly into standard testing or diagnosis.
Dr Ailina’s signature 5R Program provides a structured framework to help clients move from confusion and frustration to clarity, strategy, and more informed health decisions. Through careful history taking, functional bloodwork review, lifestyle assessment, nutrition guidance, and personalised education, she supports clients to better understand what their body may be trying to communicate.
Her work is especially suited to driven, health-conscious women who are experiencing ongoing fatigue, inflammation, brain fog, hormonal shifts, poor recovery, gut symptoms, or autoimmune concerns, and who are looking for a more thorough, clinically grounded approach.
Dr Ailina is passionate about helping people feel heard, respected, and supported after years of being dismissed or told to simply “manage” their symptoms. Her goal is to help clients reconnect the dots, advocate for their health, and move forward with a clear, practical plan.
