About
Dr Jo Mackson is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) with a special interest in womenโs and childrenโs health. She is deeply committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers women to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing. Dr Joโs clinical expertise spans menopause management, contraception (including Implanon insertion), sexual health and STI screening, fertility and family planning, medical termination of pregnancy up to 9 weeks, and the management of conditions such as endometriosis, PCOS, and perimenopause. She also has a keen interest in paediatrics and hormone-related issues.

Dr Jo completed her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Notre Dame in 2016. She holds the FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health for Doctors and is currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Child Health to further enhance her skills in paediatrics and family care.

Known for her empathetic approach, Dr Jo strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel heard and respected. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, quilting, and planning her next travel adventure. Dr Jo is dedicated to helping women and families achieve optimal health at every stage of life.
