Dr Jessica Elmasry
About
Dr Jessica Elmasry practises as a General Practitioner with a special interest in integrative medicine, having recently made Newcastle her home after building her clinical experience across Sydney as well as regional and rural New South Wales. She completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales in 2016 before progressing through general practice training, and she now holds Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners alongside a Master of Public Health. She is also a member of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine, reflecting her focus on the broader environmental and lifestyle drivers of health.
Dr Elmasry's clinical interests span a wide range of areas, including women's health and reproductive wellbeing (from fertility challenges through to postpartum recovery), mast cell activation syndrome, POTS, disordered eating and weight concerns, mental health, and autoimmune, hormonal and skin-related conditions. She takes a collaborative approach, partnering with a patient's existing GP where useful to look beyond symptoms toward underlying causes, factoring in diet, environmental triggers, gut health and the psychological dimensions of chronic illness. Away from the clinic, she treasures time with her two young children, often found together at the beach or the local park.
