About

Dr Densearn Seo is a Fellow of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (FASLM) and the CEO and Co-Founder of Gravida Health, an Australian venture-backed women's health startup. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Monash University in 2011 and a Master of Public Health at Monash University in 2021. He also holds a Healthcare Management Certificate from Cornell University (2020).

His earlier clinical roles include a position as Diabetes and Reproductive Health Fellow at Monash Health, with clinics covering gestational diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome and menopause. He describes discovering lifestyle medicine soon after completing his SCOPE certification in obesity management, and says he has seen the impact of lifestyle modifications on cardiometabolic and reproductive health by spending a little more consultation time with his patients.

Dr Seo is a Certified Health Informatician Australasia (CHIA), obtained in 2020, and an Associate Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (AFRACMA). He sits on the CHIA Examination Development Advisory Committee of the Australasian Institute of Digital Health and is an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at Monash University. He also mentors startups through UNSW Founders. He consults and partners with his patients through tailored active coaching programs aimed at their lifestyle goals.
