About

Dr Catherine Jones is a qualified Clinical Psychologist with more than 12 years of experience working with young adults and adults aged 18+ across a broad range of psychological and emotional challenges. She supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, post-natal depression, OCD, grief, emotional dysregulation, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and the psychological impact of living with chronic health conditions. Catherine provides a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore the underlying causes of their difficulties, better understand their experiences, and work towards meaningful and lasting change through individualised, evidence-based therapy.

Catherine has a particular interest in the long-term impact of trauma on both physical and psychological health, especially how unresolved trauma can influence chronic conditions such as chronic pain, autoimmune disease, diabetes, and skin disorders. She is an experienced EMDR practitioner and uses EMDR to help clients safely process distressing memories, strengthen emotional resources, and improve overall wellbeing and relationships. Catherine also incorporates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into her work, providing practical tools to help clients manage difficult thoughts, emotions, and the challenges associated with chronic health conditions.
