Dr Anjana Aru
About
Dr Anjana is a highly experienced functional doctor dedicated to personalised medicine - treating the person, not just symptoms or a diagnosis. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all protocol, she takes time to understand each patient's unique health story, blending the rigour of traditional general practice with integrative, functional and holistic approaches to uncover what's really driving ill health. Her goal is always long-term wellness, helping patients return to the things they love rather than simply managing symptoms.
Beyond the clinic, Dr Anjana is a committed lifelong learner, regularly attending and presenting at international conferences to stay at the forefront of integrative medicine. She believes in collaborative, team-based care, working alongside naturopaths, nutritionists, Chinese medicine practitioners, acupuncturists, psychologists, EMDR therapists and other specialists to design a plan built entirely around each individual. Her clinical focus spans CIRS and mould-related illness, endometriosis and women's health, fertility and postnatal care, burnout, chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia, digestive issues, and behavioural concerns in children.
