Dr Juliette Roex is a Specialist General Practitioner (FRACGP) and Diplomate of the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine, with advanced training in Lifestyle Medicine and behaviour change.
Dr Juliette's ultimate goals is to help people feel and function at their best, so they can live well now while protecting their health for the future. For Dr Juliette, better health is not simply about improving numbers on a blood test or reducing future disease risk. It is about helping people have the health and vitality to stay active, spend quality time with the people they love and continue doing the things that matter most to them.
Known for her warmth and thoroughness, Dr. Juliette takes the time to understand each person’s health in context. She works with her patients to make sense of their symptoms and results, identify the key factors influencing their health, and focus on the changes most likely to improve their overall health and wellbeing. Her practice is grounded in evidence-based Lifestyle Medicine, with a strong focus on the therapeutic role of nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management and social connection in preventing and treating chronic disease.
Alongside her clinical work, Juliette teaches medical students at Adelaide University, prescribes exercise medicine for people affected by cancer at LIFT Cancer Care, and regularly speaks at health conferences, corporate wellness events and community forums.
