Dr Anoop Jalota has been with WAMC since March 2011. Since moving to Wollongong from New Zealand he has cemented his ability in our community. Sarah is a Registered Nurse with more than 30 yrs experience spending the last 13 yrs in General Practice where I became aware of the huge impact of Chronic Health issues such as heart disease and diabetes not only in adults but also more recently in children. This led me to want to improve my knowledge in Lifestyle Medicine so I studied with Australian Society of Lifestyle Medicine and became a Fellow in July 2019.

Dr. Suzanne Deed is a general medical practitioner passionate about community health. She is committed to protecting the natural environment and responding to the climate crisis. I was raised in Regional Queensland where I now live and work as a GP supervisor and Practice owner, Breast Physician and Director of UQRCS in Bundaberg. I graduated with First Class Honours in Medicine at UQ many moons ago. With my learning being deficient in Nutrition and its application to good health along with the obesity epidemic unfolding in front of us, I obtained a Grad Dip in Human Nutrition Deakin and by Distance) also many moons ago. Living and working in a socio-economically challenged community, I see the importance and yet the huge challenge of facilitating opportunities to improve health without the current emphasis on technology, buildings and pharmaceuticals as the beacons of healthcare.

Anji embarked on her journey in healthcare upon graduating from the University of Queensland in 2005 with a Bachelor of Pharmacy. With a focus on Community Pharmacy, she dedicated herself to serving her community's health needs. In 2007, Anji expanded her expertise by becoming credentialed to conduct Home Medicines Reviews, a role she embraced with dedication, conducting several hundred reviews over the years.

Dr. Kingsley Okolie obtained his medical degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Nigeria and has a Master‚'s degree in Diabetes and Endocrinology from Queen Mary University, London. Keshinie completed her Medical degree with Honours at Monash University in 2013. She spent her resident years at The Alfred and then commenced General Practice Training. While obtaining her Fellowship in General Practice, Keshinie also undertook the Diploma of Child Health with The Sydney Childrenís Hospital Network, and the Certificate of Womenís Health with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Keshinie enjoys all aspects of General Practice but has developed a special interest in weight management. She is SCOPE certified and has completed further training in Lifestyle Medicine to provide comprehensive advice and enjoys supporting patients on their individualised journey to achieve and maintain weight loss. Keshinie also has a special interest in mental health and understands the effect it can have on all aspects of wellbeing. She is passionate about promoting good mental health in all patients, as a form of preventive care, as well as managing emerging mental health conditions. She has studied this area further and is a registered provider of Focused Psychological Strategies which allows her to implement Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with patients. In her spare time (not that she has a lot with two kids!) she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, watching sport and embroidery.

Dr. Manish graduated with honours in Dentistry from the University of Sydney in 1998, followed by a degree in Medicine in 2005 from the same university. He holds a master‚'s in medicine in Sleep Medicine from the University of Sydney, specialising in craniofacial pain and sleep disorders. Dr. Manish provides holistic dental care, combining his expertise as a medical doctor and dentist. With over 15 years of experience, he specialises in comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Toan earned his degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Saigon University in Vietnam in 1979. Upon relocating to Australia, he achieved a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Flinders University School of Medicine in 1987. With a wealth of experience in general practice, he served as a visiting GP at the Adelaide Childrenís Hospital from 1988 to 1999. Proficient in both English and Vietnamese, he holds membership in the Australian Lifestyle Medicine Association (ALMA) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
