- Dr Varipatis commenced the use of intravenous Ascorbate (Vitamin C) and other injectable vitamins & minerals in the 1990’s, as guided initially by ACAM (American college for the Advancement in Medicine), and then later by ACNEM (Australasian College for Nutritional & Environmental Medicine), and also by AIMN (Australasian Institute for Medical Nutrition).
Low-dose Naltrexone
- The use of Naltrexone to help manage chronic inflammation, chronic pain conditions, Long-covid, and some auto-immune diseases.
- Dr Varipatis first started to use LDN in the 1990’s when evidence first started to appear about its potential role in the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Crohn’s disease.
Educational Background
Dr Emmanuel Varipatis graduated from the University of NSW in 1979 and commenced private practice in 1984.
His interests and training in Integrative Medicine commenced at this time & have continued ever since, and aspects of these have been progressively incorporated into his practice of medicine. He has several decades of accumulated experience and training in various aspects of nutritional & environmental medicine, clinical metals toxicology and lifestyle medicine.
