Metabolic health

Dr. Kathleen Holcombe undertook medical training at the University of Queensland, graduating in 2007. She worked at Royal Brisbane and Women‚'s Hospital and The Royal Children‚'s Hospital Brisbane before moving to Melbourne for general practice training. Dr. Holcombe became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012. She has qualifications in Palliative Medicine, Child Health, and Nutritional and Environmental Medicine. Dr. Holcombe‚'s training allows her to offer evidence-based lifestyle strategies to help patients achieve optimal health outcomes.

David‚'s passion for understanding the health benefits of exercise and nutrition started during his undergraduate studies at the University of Western Australia. A Fullbright Scholarship allowed him to further his education at The University of Arizona in the USA. Having worked in preventive health and aged care has given him vast experience of working with people of all ages and health status. His interest in metabolic health grew from his passion for understanding how the biochemical processes within the cells drive our physiology and determine our health and performance. He applies his understanding of human physiology to assist patients improve their metabolic health for optimal energy resulting in better health and function.

Dr. Lucy Burns is a GP and lifestyle medicine doctor with extensive training in psychological medicine. She co-created Real Life Medicine, an online learning platform, inspired by her successful medical weight loss clinic. Dr. Lucy speaks at conferences for doctors on weight management and menopause, as well as events for the public. Her expertise extends to metabolic health and menopause discussions.
