Perri Carlson-Hawke
About
Perri Carlson-Hawke is a registered clinical psychologist and supervisor with expertise that reaches well beyond conventional clinical practice. Her areas of specialisation span therapeutic ketogenic diets for mental disorders, nutritional psychiatry, coaching psychology and neuropsychology — a genuinely rare combination that positions her at the forefront of metabolic mental health care in Australia.
Originally from Queensland, Perri relocated to Orange in 2012, completing her Honours degree in Psychology at Charles Sturt University before pursuing Coaching Psychology at the University of Sydney and ultimately finishing her MPsych(Clinical) in 2016. In 2021 she trained under Psychiatrist Dr Georgia Ede to implement ketogenic metabolic therapy for mental illness, and has since undertaken advanced training with leading international practitioners including Dr Chris Palmer, Dr Anne Childers and Beth Zupec-Kania. She holds certification in Nutritional Psychiatry and is a Fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists, a member of the Australian Psychological Society and the Australasian Metabolic Health Society. She facilitates a monthly clinician group for practitioners using ketogenic therapy for mental health conditions.
