Dr Lambert completed training as a GP through the RACGP Family Medicine Program from 1987 to 1992. Toan earned his degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Saigon University in Vietnam in 1979. Upon relocating to Australia, he achieved a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Flinders University School of Medicine in 1987. With a wealth of experience in general practice, he served as a visiting GP at the Adelaide Childrenís Hospital from 1988 to 1999.
